ABOUT ME

Intrigued by human beings and motivated by the desire to help people, I began my studies with a delinquency intervention technique. Realizing my thirst for learning, I continued my academic journey, completing a bachelor's and master's degree in psychoeducation. I then completed an internship in psychology in order to obtain my psychotherapist's license and to offer a more complete service to my clients.

Over the years, my practice has focused on the treatment of anxiety disorders, more specifically, traumatic experiences. I also worked for many years in a rehabilitation unit (Youth Center), with children and adolescents with behavioral problems and their families. Always looking for challenges, I worked in northern Quebec, with the Inuit community. I have also developed an expertise in sexual violence.

Finally, I am a teacher at the college level. I am also completing a 2-year intervention program centered on psychodynamic theories, offered by the Centre de psychothérapie in association with the Hôpital en santé mentale Albert-Prévost (HSMAP) of the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Nord-de-l'Île-de-Montréal (CIUSSSNIM).
